LEADING COMMON PEOPLE INTO UNCOMMON LIFE IN JESUS

OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19

UNCOMMON  Faith  in  UNCOMMON  Times

These are extraordinary times...

As local and national news continues to stream in and government officials update conditions and revise recommendations, we are increasingly aware that we are facing a crisis unprecedented in our lifetime. But, in the midst of crisis, there is also great opportunity for God to do extraordinary things in us personally, in our church, and in our community.
We are the church—all day, every day, and wherever we are. In the days ahead we will have many opportunities to engage in the mission in new and different ways. Stay prayerful. Stay connected to the Body.  And, be a source of hope.

Social (Physical) Distancing doesn't mean isolation. No one should ever feel alone...ever. It will take all of us using all available means to stay connected in community and care for one another -- especially those who live alone.
  • Social Media. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Friend one another. Engage with one another's posts.
  • Email. Here's an idea:  use it for something other than work.
  • Text. Send brief encouraging messages. Sprinkle in some emojis. Use GroupMe to connect a group.
  • Video Conferencing. Use services like Zoom, Teams, or Google Hangouts for Life Group or Ministry Team meetings.
  • Phone Calls. Remember those?  Sometimes you just need to hear a friendly, caring voice. Make a call.
  • Life Group. You can join one and start attending virtual gatherings right away. Click HERE to fill out an interest form.

Students - Stay connected with Grace Point Student Ministry. Click the link below.
  • Gather With Family  Sunday's at 10am.  Kids and students, watch with your parents. Your church family will be online too!
  • Be Fully Present. Choose to stay committed and engaged no matter what tries to distract you.
  • Join the Conversation. Participate in the live chat, comment, like, share.
  • Don't Just Watch -- Worship.  You can't feed your soul by watching others. Sing, pray, read, listen for God's voice, and respond in faith to what He says.
  • Kids,  Use the Sermon Guide.  We've created a simple guide kids can use to follow along and apply the Pastor's message.  Click HERE to download.
We've gathered resources to help you and your family grow spiritually at home.

Right Now Media -- A streaming library of Bible study Videos.

Dwell Bible App -- A gift of 60-day access to this audio Bible app that keeps Scripture in your ears and on your heart.

Through faithful giving, God uses Grace Point Church to share the Gospel and help the hurting in our community.  To participate in this unprecedented opportunity:
  • Move your giving online.  Use our convenient and safe online giving tools on the church website and app. If you cannot give online, you can mail your check to the church office at 9650 Huebner, San Antonio, TX 78240.
  • Give to those in our community who are hardest hit during this crisis. If you want to give to benevolence, click the give link and choose the Benevolence fund in the dropdown menu.
