NO Outdoor Services at either Medical Center or West campus.

Due to a new Executive Order by local government officials, we are resuming
ONLINE-ONLY Worship Services, Sundays at 10am.
We will reassess a possible reopening of our two campuses  in August.

Stay connected to Grace Point for further updates!

June 4, 2020

We are excited to announce that on June 14, we will reopen for in-person, on-campus worship at both Grace Point campuses by having outdoor services, Sundays at 10am! We all miss being together as a church family, and this is the most efficient way for us to gather together while COVID-19 restrictions are still in place.  Both of our church properties afford us enough space for a large number of people, while maintaining safe social distancing and other health and safety protocols.

What you need to know:
  • We will have one service at each campus, Sunday at 10am.
  • The service will have a casual, outdoor festival feel.
  • Dress for San Antonio summer weather.  Wear sunscreen!
  • Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on, plus ice chests with bottled water and whatever else you need to be comfortable outdoors.
  • Families welcome! Bring the kids to worship with you!

In the event of rain or threat of rain (65% chance or higher), we will have two services indoors at 10 & 11:30am -- with all health and safety protocols in place.  We will make that decision 24 hours in advance and send out notifications through all of our communication channels.

It's OK to stay home! We are Grace Point Church wherever we are!
If you are at-risk or simply not ready for a large gathering, please stay home and participate with us ONLINE. We will continue to live stream our services though ChurchONLINE and Facebook.

We are excited to worship, pray, and hear from God together! When we step out in faith and do new things God shows up in powerful ways.

May 22, 2020

Due to recent proclamations by our local government officials, we have decided to delay
relaunching in-person worship services until a later date. We want to take plenty of time
to thoroughly prepare and plan for everyone's health and safety. Please watch the videos
below from Senior Pastor Jeff Harris and Lead Pastor David Martin for more information.

May 11, 2020

After prayer and preparation, we plan to resume in-person services at both Grace Point Church Medical Center and Grace Point Church West on May 31st. We want you to know that the safety of our guests is our highest priority. We commit to provide an in-person worship service experience that meets or exceeds all government and CDC guidelines.

In accordance with government recommendations, we are restructuring our services to create a sanitary, contactless environment that aligns with social distancing best practices—including a significantly reduced capacity. Because of seating limitations, we ask you to register online to attend on behalf of your family.

We will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends and government guidelines to determine any necessary changes. As you consider whether to attend in-person, we encourage you to make the best choice for your family. We will continue to stream our worship services ONLINE, so you can worship with us from home.
Instructions for Attending In-Person Services:
  • Please use the link for the campus you attend to reserve seats for you and your family in advance. DO NOT PRINT OUT YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL. To maintain a contactless environment, you will need to show your confirmation email on your phone
  • To allow time for new check-in procedures, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service.
  • You will have until 5 minutes after the service starts to claim your reserved seating. After that time, any unclaimed seats will be released for others to use.
Preparations for a Safe In-Person Experience
For everyone’s health and safety, we are implementing the following best practices:

  • All Staff and volunteers will have temperature checks prior to serving and will wear a mask and gloves (with the exception of the speaker and our worship band).

  • We will provide additional hand-sanitizer stations throughout the building.

  • All used spaces and furnishings, including seats, will be sanitized between services with safe, fast, and hospital-grade disinfecting products.

  • All worship services will be a contactless experiences.
    • We will not pass offering baskets. We will provide giving stations for in-person giving. Please consider using our ONLINE GIVING tool. For your convenience, you have the option to set up recurring giving.
    • The printed bulletin will be replaced by a digital bulletin. You can access the bulletin for the campus you attend through a provided link, QR code, or on the APP.
    • Public water fountains will not be available for use.
    • We will not offer hospitality refreshments.
    • All seat-back materials such as envelopes, papers, and pens will be removed.
    • There will be no in-person classes for Kids or Students.
What We Ask of All In-Person Worship Service Participants:
  1. If you don't feel well or have underlying health conditions that place you at risk, please stay home and join us ONLINE.
  2. We highly encourage you to wear a protective face mask. We will have a limited supply on hand to give out if you do not have your own.
  3. Please, wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  4. Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.

We will continue to offer our worship services ONLINE – both Livestream and On-Demand viewing – through our Church Online platforms, social media, and our website and app. If you or any member of your family is considered high-risk, has an underlying health condition, doesn't feel well, or if you are just not ready to attend church in our building, please participate with your Grace Point family online. You are a Grace Pointer no matter how you choose to attend service!

The Grace Point Church ONLINE experience is also a great opportunity to invite friends to worship with us who might not be ready for an in-person experience.

We will not offer in-person Kids or Student Ministries at this time. We hope to resume soon and will keep you informed on our plans. Your entire family is invited to sit and worship together in the auditorium.

We will continue to partner with you in leading our kids and students to live an uncommon life in Jesus through weekly, purposeful ministry activities provided through social media and other virtual spaces.

Starting today, city, county, and state  officials have begun the process of reopening Texas in a series of phases. We have decided to adopt a cautious, wait-and-see approach and therefore we are waiting until May 31 to resume on-campus, in-person worship services. In the video message below, Senior Pastor Jeff Harris shares the steps and precautions we are taking as we prepare to resume gathering on campus.

Officials of San Antonio and Bexar County have issued a "Stay Home, Work Safe" order that will be in effect until April 9th, and may be extended.

The Church Office is closed until further notice, but the staff is reachable via phone (210.696.6093) or email.

We will continue to worship online together for at least the next two weeks, Sundays at 10am. You can enjoy our interactive services through church online or Facebook.  You will find the links on the home page.

In these rapidly changing times, decisions are being made daily. Plans for Easter Services will be shared as soon as decisions are made.

How We Are Reaching out to You:
  • We are deploying our staff to make calls to check on you as well as texting
  • We will be sending you a Weekly Check-In via to get an accurate pulse on how we can serve you best. By completing it each week we will be able to hear from you and adjust to meet the realtime needs.

Online Giving
As these times of uncertainty are reflected in our weekly offering, we have taken extensive, necessary steps to limit all non-essential spending. However, we will continue to care for the Grace Point family and serve our community. If you’ve been giving regularly, thank you. Now more than ever your gifts are crucial for helping people in need. 60% of our giving comes in electronically. That means that 40% was by the offering plate. If you were someone who gave on Sunday mornings would you consider giving through our safe and easy electronic methods at or on the app? If you prefer to give by check please mail it to 9650 Huebner, San Antonio, TX 78240.
